Before all the imitators there was Taste of London – the city’s premier outdoor food festival. Kicking off 17th June you can expect all the capital’s best restaurants to congregate in Regent’s Park for what can only be described as creativity and flavour triumphing over all the rest. Enjoy a day in the park, with all the finest food and drink you can shake a stick at.

Pride is a staple in the London calendar. Join the spirit of freedom and revel in celebrations with the capital city’s LGBTQ+ community. A month long series of events that peaks with a parade through the centre of London on 4th July. You can see some of the programming here, which includes theatre shows, film screenings, jubilant parties, art installations and more - and stay tuned for something special soon to be announced in our award winning club – Thirteen.  

The city’s music line up this summer commences with regular fixture Abba Voyage, as well as The Streets and System of a Down in June. Somerset House’s epic Summer Series launches 16th July and features Naika, Lightning Seeds, The Flaming Lips and Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine. Meanwhile in North London, Alexandra Palace readies itself for the legendary "Mr Bitter Sweet" himself - Richard Ashcroft returning on 17th July. While south of there in Camden,The Roundhouse hosts the newest Queen member Adam Lambert on 21st July for a thrilling show.

Nothing lights up London quite like Wimbledon – whether you’re in the court or not, the city comes alive from 29th June to 12 July. The bars, the TVs, the grounds all swell with excitement and dynamism that sets everything off with the community enthusiasm reaching fever pitch. Join us, London is an open invitation – let’s celebrate the sport and the winners.

Late July sees Bruno Mars' string of live performances at The O2 on the 19th, 24th & 28th July. Likely to be the years tentpole single live artist event, this promises something truly special – from guests to surprises and a whole lot of funk. Meanwhile over at Wembley, Luke Combs gears up for ‘My Kinda Saturday Night’ on 31st July. This American country singer has been lighting fires across the globe since his performance of ‘Fast Cars’ with Tracey Chapman at last year’s Grammys. And on that very evening – the Nirvana tribute band Nirvana UK will play the Electric Ballroom in Camden – one not to miss for punk grunge fans.

Through August the temperature will rise as Graces Jones hits highs of her own at the Palace Bowl. Peggy Gou will perform at the Old Naval College, The Hollywood Vampires at The O2, Mavis Staples at the epic Union Chapel, Lenny Kravitz at The Palace Bowl, Jack White as well as The Black Keys at Eventim Apollo, A$AP Rocky at The O2, while Jorja Smith and later Tyler, the Creator will both hit the stages at in Victoria Park at for All Points East.

Did someone say Carnival? Any London summer line up would be remiss not to mention Notting Hill Carnival. From 29th to 31st August commonly known as the summer bank holiday- enjoy the spirit of the city and see West London come to life. A festival of festivals dressed like a carnival, a massive series of small street and house parties – Carnival weekend is guaranteed to have you wondering why you would ever leave London.

And finally – even as this most epic of summers draws to a close, the music credentials in London just don’t stop. Promising to be a doozie, the Royal Festival Hall will see the Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan strip back his ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ hits. And closing out the season is one for the family – as you’ll able to enjoy The Weeknd at Wembley Stadium.
